You will discover the natural features, historic attractions and dramatic coastal scenery to be found on and near the Atlantic Highway as it follows the line of the coast between Barnstaple in Devon to Newquay in Cornwall.
Discover Tarka Country, Hawker's Morwenstow, King Arthur Country, Bodmin Moor, History, Myth, Legend and much more. North Devon and North Cornwall have a dramatic and rugged coastline, some pleasant beaches and miles of unspoilt rural countryside dotted with hamlets, villages and the occasional town. The coast and lands bordering the Atlantic Highway are sparsely populated and rich in attractive scenery. Everywhere there is a sense that the passing of time has done little to bury history intertwined with folklore and legend.
There is so much to be discovered, so, whether taking a day visit, short break or a longer holiday, there is an abundance of things to see and places to go. To find out more, go to the Site Map from where more detailed information can be found on many of the villages, towns and locations along the Atlantic Highway.
